Grab your Galantine (or Valentine) and head to Hiii (7 south high in Canal Winchester, Ohio next door to the Winchester Exchange) on February 13th at 6pm and join us in making your very own ceramic charcuterie board! Each participant will get to make one charcuterie board, and 1-3 condiment dishes to go along with their board. You will have to option to add texture such as lace or florals to your board- OR to add a very small accent of pottery transfers to your board. Pottery transfers are sheets of paper with a variety of images on them used to transfer a design or picture to a piece of work. A lot of Jessica’s work features transfers.

All supplies will be provided. If you wish to bring your own textures or florals to press into the clay you may- but it is not necessary. Participants must be 16 years or older.

*please note, not all the images in this listing are my own work, some are  examples for you to see what you could expect to make in class, or pieces past students have made in my class. no prior experience with pottery or clay is needed. this is an all levels welcome class.

More Details

Come spend an evening making a ceramic charcuterie board. Each attendee will have the opportunity to make 1 board and 1-3 condiment dishes to go with their board. We will be using high fire clay (cone 6) to construct your slab built boards and dishes. The boards will be microwave, oven and dishwasher safe upon completion of their final glaze fire, which will be ready 2-4 weeks after the date of class. You will be able to pick up at the Winchester Exchange.

After the class you boards and dishes will be taken to be fired at Jessica’s studio, where they will go through two firings- a bisque and a glaze firing. Once they have been fired you will be notified and can pick up the completed project from the Winchester Exchange. It will take 2-4 weeks from the date of the class, for them to be fired, and ready for pick up.

All dishes will be glazed in clear, but you will have the option to add some color to them during class time.

This is a one day workshop, and does require a separate pick up date for your completed project. The class usually runs 2-2 1/2 hours.

Please wear clothing that you can get clay on, or an apron. Clay typically washes out of clothing very easily.

****Please note refunds will not be given after purchase. Refunds will not be issued if you are unable to attend. If you are unable to attend you may transfer your class ticket to another person for that specific class, but not to a future one. No exceptions. Please contact for further details.
